In the summer of 2015, Andreas and Tanja Walther went on a medical mission to Tanzania / Serengeti. But it was God's plan that it would not remain a simple medical mission. Through encounters with the local people, God opened their hearts and a new vision was born: WorldChanger.
Today, our team serves in Mugumu/Serengeti through education, orphan care, agriculture, and medical programmes — bringing God's love in a very practical way to the most vulnerable.
Four interconnected areas — all serving one purpose: to restore dignity, bring hope, and change lives.

Every week our WorldChanger team goes out onto the streets of Serengeti Town and into the surrounding villages — bringing the best news in the world, praying for healing, and distributing soup to the poorest of the poor.
Together with our young, dedicated African team, we live out the vision and mission God placed in our hearts: to bring His love to people in a very practical way.
Alongside the leadership team, we have over 20 full- and part-time staff, plus 15 to 20 local volunteers working across all areas of the ministry.

We have purchased a plot of land in Mugumu where we are building a vocational training center, dormitories for the students, shelters for orphans, a chapel, and an administration building.
So far, thanks to donations alone, we have been able to build a chapel, a school building, an emergency shelter for orphans, and a kitchen building. But we haven't reached our goal yet.

Africa
Now is the time for Africa! With our diverse services (schools, VETA vocational colleges, orphanages), we want to restore dignity, change lives, and positively shape society.
Germany
We want to help you live and strengthen your Christian faith in daily life. Discover our business ministry with inspiring talks, coaching, and various community events.
Here you will find urgent, concrete needs for our work that we can only realize with your support.
Our new children's home will welcome its first 24 children in July 2026. In addition to the building, we urgently need a playground and a canopy for the outdoor learning and homework area.
Our WorldChanger vocational school will train electricians and plumbers starting in 2027 (VETA state-accredited). To make this possible, we are building a workshop with training machinery by December 2026.
